Love Photos!

This is such a wonderful time of year to watch how the friendships have grown and flourished throughout the year. It is beautiful to see how loving the children behave with each other, and how much they truly enjoy each other. Every day I see children snuggling, cuddling, holding hands, sitting together, laughing, and loving.
These pictures are so amazing, I think they speak for themselves. Enjoy!!

Engine 34 came to visit us!

A few weeks ago, Avery's dad Joel and his fire engine crew came to school to talk to us about fire safety.  The Blackberry class joined us in the Trillium room for a look at how firefighters help people.  They showed us their special clothing and equipment that they use to help them fight the fires and rescue people.  The kiddos were over the moon by the visit, especially the trip out to check out the fire engine!  Here are the pictures!

Another really big THANK YOU! to Engine 34! These folks were super kind and patient with the children.  It was really touching!  Lots of kids in the class are still talking about the visit, and I see some of the Blackberry kids playing fire
fighter out on the play yard!
OK!

We've been busy!

We have been experiencing Spring Fever here in the Toddler room!  We have spent quite a bit of time outside, including an outing to the Meadow as a class.  That was a blast!  Thanks to Jay, Amy, Kristin, Heidi and Erika for coming with us!  We have a few pictures, but then our camera's battery died.  Here are some of the pictures that we captured of the children in the 'tree house' as Gideon calls it.

We have also been playing in the lovely garden here at school.  Look!  Blue sky!

Inside, the kids collaborated on some water play, art work and flubber exploration

We have all been in the Studio, working on our in depth projects and experimenting with a few of the "hundred languages" children use to explore their world.

Until next time!
OK! Melody
