For lunch today our chefs Maya and Sienna served us a picnic style lunch in the great hall!
The whole school gathered to eat lunch together...A FIRST for us...and it was so much FUN!
We ate hot dogs, Asian slaw, cantaloupe, watermelon, kale salad (made with kale straight out of our school garden!), and ended the meal with delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
It was fun to see what foods each friend enjoyed the most. Gideon and Luba liked the hot dogs best, Ben ate lots of watermelon, Amelia and Eliza enjoyed the buns, Sullivan was proud to pick up hot dog pieces with her fork, and Jonah seemed pleased to try some of everything. The cookies were enjoyed by all!
